Bio
M. N. Cox writes paranormal mysteries.
Born and raised in Queensland, Australia, she proudly sets her novels there in seemingly ordinary small towns that harbour dark secrets and supernatural creatures.
Armed with a Psychology degree she'll probably never use elsewhere, she writes flawed protagonists navigating grey areas toward hard-won moments of moral clarity. It's dark fiction, but not without humour or hope.
Her novels, The Strange Brew and The Red Line, feature ghosts and vampires, and The Red Line was shortlisted in Queensland Writers Centre's 15th Publishable program.
When not writing novels, she writes short fiction — sometimes even literary and beyond the paranormal — and can otherwise be found reading and plotting, supervised by fluffy friends, and sustained almost entirely by tea.
